Yes, I am not dead. I just suck at blogging, and at life in general recently. Anyway, here is whats been going down:
I moved into my house with the help of my family and friends. MUCHO help, that is. I'm really glad to be here, so far I love it. I do remember, though, how much I dislike mowing. Its funny how you forget how bad things suck when you don't do them for awhile (like moving, and mowing, and painting, and cleaning, and..)
The cats are good, happy, fat, and loved. Jasper is rotten and Pickle is sweet. I have decided to try out fostering cats that do not have homes. By cats I mean one at a time, though. I just picked up my first foster today. His name is Oreo, he is black and white and has a big head. Kinda stinky too. Jasper and Pickle are stationed at the top of the stairs, watching him roam the downstairs. I have never heard Pickle hiss so much! HISS HISS HISS HISS HISS HISS HISS ha it was pretty funny. Hopefully Oreo and Jasper will get along and be wrestle buddies.
What else...I've been working a lot and being stressed out a lot. I beat myself up when I feel like I've been to lazy. The obvious solution is to not be lazy, but when you're lazy thats hard to fix.
I'm excited to see my friends Amanda and Erin in a couple weekends.
I need to plant some tulips.
Internet dating sucks, but its always nice to hear nice things from boys who could be potentially cute. And then stalking them to death. This is how I roll.
The Preakness is on. Yes I'm watching it. Yes I'm rooting for the one that won the Derby.
OH and I found a barn to ride at, as long as I get more emails from the lady I contacted. I haven't heard from her in a couple days, so I shouldn't get my hopes up.
I'm also thinking about volunteering at the Kanawha Co Animal Shelter. And I'm shopping for a dog. I'm on an animal kick.
I went backing with my friends here last weekend, and it was fun. There are pics on FB, maybe I'll get around to putting some on here, but I might just wait till Jaye blogs about it and call it good. It was nice to get away from the conforts of home, I'm looking forward to going again.
I need to make soup tomorrow.
I need to give Oreo a bath.
Life is tough ;)
